After the highly anticipated arrival of 'Purify The Album' last January. Myc Ripley [ME] is returning again in the new year to bring to you the second installment to the album. "Purify The Album : Lost Scrolls" available at his bandcamp site on January 13th, 2012 [1.13.12]

YES!! It is Friday the 13th. That doesn't matter though because it is a sacred day.. If you know your history and have done the research you would've known by know that 13 is a sacred number (ie. 12 disciples & Jesus or 12 Knights & King Arthur) Why do you think all the institutions have deemed it as an 'evil' number? Just to hide the true significance. Still, that's something you can find on your own time.

Lost Scrolls is the remaining songs that were not able to be placed on the first album. It will contain 13 tracks [12 & 1 bonus], production by Dave Slappelle, Healthy Fresh Productions, Da Ill Suspect, Dubs Attic, Sean Blak and Phya Armz Ent.. have to say it is definitely a refreshing thing to come from yours truly. 408 & Heartbreak - Myc Ripley | Available on Valentine's Day | 2.14.12

As the year comes to a close, as well as many relationships (including one of my own). I've decided to take on the mission or idea created by a good producer friend of mine. This project will deal with life in a relationship and life after relationships, especially deep rooted ones.


No, this will not be a sappy "I love you, come back to me" type of album. This will be that unadulterated, look into my life music. Just as I did "Purify the album" this will let you into a part of my life which has been a weight on my shoulders this year, if not for a couple years now.


Production for this album consists solely of instrumentation by Dave Slappelle and Healthy Fresh. Be on the lookout come February for this release from San Jose's own Myc Ripley. "408 & Heartbreak."

Once again, life calls and I need to answer the door this time...

During periods of stagnation, inferior elements can rise to power. When the inmates are overrunning the asylum, summon up your fortitude, hide your worth and withdraw. Concentrate on your personal affairs with a quiet dignity, even if that means giving up short-term rewards.

Desiring to change a situation too quickly often creates extra conflict. By accepting hardship, while striving to maintain integrity, you are preparing for future growth. A seed of prosperity is often hidden inside the husk of misfortune.
