Welcome to part 3!! It's 2014 and Myc Ripley has grown as a person, friend, artist, etc. There has been ups and downs, a couple cases caught, a new child, wife, and better plans for the future..

Since Part 2, Myc Ripley has been working with artists around the world, from US to Romania, Italy, Switzerland and the UK. Also, he has been dipping into different genres of music from dubstep/grime, drum & bass, pop, dance. There is no boundaries that can hold back his talent. This man stays working, stays collaborating and will end up where he needs to be.

The project that was aimed to drop in February has been replaced with a different concept. Once again #FVXKERY will not be materializing. The Slappelle Show will be returning with its 4th installment, Introspection. Along with a whole new vibe of Myc Ripley on Aura Glorealis both coming later this year! "A Long Time Reflecting Evolving Besieging Every Challenge" is the meaning of the name Al Trebec and Jeopardy is the theme of this particular free download. One day I [Dave Slappelle] was on the way to sampling the "Think Music" from the TV game show Jeopardy and somehow came across ten (10) different rhythms for the particular sample. So, what we chose to do was run with the Jeopardy music and make a whole theme out of it. Production is solely by Dave Slappelle for Inf8nitbeatslump Recordings.

Essentially, this tape touches on some issues that have been heavy on my brain for some time now. From certain subliminal messages and doings touching mankind and how we are becoming less and less aware of them. Hence the theme of Jeopardy, our world is for surely in jeopardy. It is slightwieght in the form of how the actual show would go, if it were to present in hip hop form.

I encourage you to download and pass it on to friends as you all have been doing with my last release. It started circulating behind the scenes as a thank you for those who have liked the Myc Ripley facebook fan page. Some people might have this already, but I honestly think that it will be a good 30 mins of your listening pleasures. Only, it vibes pretty well if I have to say so myself. As the year comes to a close, as well as many relationships (including one of my own). I've decided to take on the mission or idea created by a good producer friend of mine. This project will deal with life in a relationship and life after relationships, especially deep rooted ones.


No, this will not be a sappy "I love you, come back to me" type of album. This will be that unadulterated, look into my life music. Just as I did "Purify the album" this will let you into a part of my life which has been a weight on my shoulders this year, if not for a couple years now.


Production for this album consists solely of instrumentation by Dave Slappelle and Healthy Fresh. Be on the lookout come February for this release from San Jose's own Myc Ripley. "408 & Heartbreak."
