Glad that is out of the way! Now, its time to talk about this new beat tape that all of a sudden I'm putting together!! The name of it is going to be "Makin' Redrum for Coffee - The Beat Tape&trade." Take what you want from it...

All I know is that its gonna be a new type of beat tape that will not be compared to ever. I'm listening to all the artists that I get down with & then I tailor a beat specifically to their style of flow and instrumental selection. Which means, I am actually listening to more than tow of each artists songs.

Artists I have made for so far consist of: Sharks In a 3 Peace Suit (Tequila Brown, Matty Slims, & Nordy Derk of course), Megabusive, Solis Cin. Sampling some of the music no one would ever think of pulling a sample from. Also, I'll be creating originals.

This idea stemmed from Nordy Derk asking for a beat for his new album (BE ON THE LOOKOUT FOR IT - Get a taste of it here!!) The rest is a wrap. I started makin for the rest of the crew.. Makin that redrum. Now you get it? I will be making for a bunch of artists. If they've done anything with me I got 'em.. Then the Beats/songs will be compiled with and without the lyrics dropped on them.

So, what now? Enjoy the album.. It is the beginning of a transitioning Myc Ripley, because where I'm at now; is not where I was then.. Hence the name ATD. I haven't had that much clarity about myself until recently and in that I have found that both of the concepts for this and the next drop were totally relevant!!! I say this, since I wasn't really wanting to put this out there.. Honestly its a journey in its whole, follow me as we go down the dark path towards the light!!!

Amidst The Darkness&trade - Free DL coming 07.25.10

Well, I know many folks have been waiting for Myc Ripley to drop something since "The Adventure of Jack Rabbid&trade" in 08.08.2008.. Its been about two years!! Personally, I had to find some peace of mind before and after I tried to take myself out the game permanently. So, now I am back and ready to get the 2nd half of the year crackin'!!!


Now, heading up to July 25, 2010, I have compiled two (2) albums for your listening pleasure!! Many of you have fell through to my Reverbnation page (player on the sidelines------>) and have visited various site that I am on.. I WANNA SAY, "THANKS FOR THE SUPPORT!!!" The FREE DIGITAL DOWNLOAD is specifically for you.. hahaa! Also, for others who stumble across it..


This album will be a prequel to my "debut" album (so to speak) called "Purify The Album&trade" (artwork after blog post) which is a compilation of trying to separate the dirt particles from the water cycle (flow) of San Jose and worldwide.
